-          Troop 90 recharters on it’s 10th Anniversary with 35 youth and 13 adults, Mark Ricketts becomes the 6th Scoutmaster – (Charter)

-          January 14 – 17 – Troop went to Cumberland Caverns TN, visited Dr. Ricketts parents in Huntsville (patch), (patch)

-          February 11 -13  – Troop camps at Lake Payne State Park

-          March 17-19 – Troop camps at Spring Camporee at Shelton State College, very muddy (patch)

-          March 18 – Court of Honor

-          March 24 – 26 – Philmont Contingent takes backpacking shakedown hike at Cheaha Mt.

-          April 14 – 16 – Troop camps and hikes Shiloh Trail TN , hiked the 14 mile trail then “got lost” and hiked 20 miles total for Hiking Merit Badge (patch)

-          May 20 -  Swim Test for Summer Camp

-          May 26 – 29 – Philmont Contingent takes backpacking shakedown hike at Cheaha Mt

-          June 10 – 11 – Troop hikes Odom Scout Trail 10 miles and Chinnebee Loop Trail 10 miles (patch)

-          June 25 – July 1– Troop spent a week at Summer Camp in Apache Campsite at Camp Horne and earned Honor Troop (patch)

-          July 7 – Troop take 10 mile prep hike in Tuscaloosa at Old Colony Golf Course

-          February 16 – 18 – Troop camped at the Turnipseed Camp in Talladega National Forrest

-          March 16 - 18 – Troop camped and hiked Chickamauga GA hiked 14 mile trail also hiked Blue Beaver Trail 10 miles (patch), (patch)

-          April 6 – 8 – Troop camping at Lake Payne worked on Cooking and Astronomy MBs

-          April 10 – Court of Honor

-          April 20 – Troop helped with setup for American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life (patch)

-          May – Troop camps at Camp Horne in Apache Campsite and helps with Beaver Day (patch OA members only)

-          September 7 - 9 - Troop camped at High Country, the Ocoee River rafting was cancelled due to frozen turkeys in the river.

-          October 12 – 14 – Troop camped at Demopolis, White Bluff Park, rained

-          EAGLES - Michael Crawford receives his Eagle for a project he built a walkway with railings at Eastern Hills Baptist Church; Matthew Crawford receives his Eagle for a project he renovated a home owned by Eastern Hills Baptist Church; Riley Edwards receives his Eagle for a project laying out a football field for Tuscaloosa Middle School; James Hale receives his Eagle his project was landscaping at Verner Elementary School ; Alex Lushington, III receives his Eagle for a project built a new playground at Tuscaloosa Academy; Adam May receives his Eagle his project involved child identification fingerprinting with the police department at McFarland Mall ; John Ricketts receives his Eagle for a project he restored bike trials at Muny Sokol Park; Jim Smith receives his Eagle for a project he conducted an inventory for First United Methodist Church Eston Whiteside receives his Eagle for a project he conducted a bone marrow donor drive.

-          March 15 – 17 - Troop camps at Kimbrough’s hunting camp in Hale Co., AL, fishing and shooting, fish fry (photo)

-          April 5 – 7 – Troop camps at a hunting club in Pickens Co., AL boils crawfish

-          April 16 – Court of Honor

-          April 19 – Troop helped with setup for American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life (patch)

-          July 27 – August 4 – Troop carried 50 people to a 10 day campout on an island at Goulais Bay on Lake Superior in Sault Saint Marie, Canada, Scouts earned the International Ectivity Emblem (patch), (patch)

-          October 11 – 13 - Troop attended the Council Encampment at Moundville State Park (patch)

-          November 9 – 10 – Troop holds a chili cooking campout at Camp Horne, Scouts stayed in Blackfoot cabin

-          December 7 – 8 – Troop holds a JLT campout at Camp Horne

-          EAGLES - Harrison Chambers receives his Eagle for his project he construct an all weather tract for the playground at Tuscaloosa Academy; Will Cowan receives his Eagle for a project he did a landscaping project at the Phoenix House; David Henderson receives his Eagle for a project he restored and improved the Gobbler Ridge Trail at Deerlick Creek Park; Jess Leonard receives his Eagle his project involved restoring the playground at Brewer Porch school. -          February 14 – 15 – Troop camped at Dr. Cowan Hunting Lodge had fish fry, rained

-          March 2 – Court of Honor

-          March 14 – 16 – Troop camp and hike at Vicksburg MS, -  Patrick Dent, David Henderson, Alex Lushington III, Alex Lushington, Jr. and Thomas Brooks hiked the 14 mile, 7 mile and 5 mile trails all in one day (patch), (patch), (patch)

-          March 29 – April 5 - Troop sent contingent (Eagles only) to Sea Base to the Out Island Adventure in lower keys– (trip report), (patch)

-          EAGLES - Trey Brooks receives his Eagle for a project provided library books to inner city parochial schools in Birmingham AL; Michael Lander receives his Eagle for a project he reforested a portion of Deerlick Creek Park; Nathan Marsh receives his Eagle his project involves pairing handicapped children with Alabama basketball players.

-          February 17 – Court of Honor – Mike Henderson becomes Scoutmaster

-          February 20 – 22 – Troop camped at Camp Horne in Old Dinning Hall

-          March 12 – 14 – Troop camped at a lake on Ringland property in Greensboro AL, fished

-          March 27 – April 4 – Troop sent 2 contingents to Sea Base, 1 went sailing in the Bahamas, the other took the Out Island Adventure in lower keys – (Bahamas trip report), (patch), (patch)

-          April – Troop camped and hiked 14 mile cannon trial at Chickamauga GA (patch)

-          EAGLES - Matthias Kuemmerle receives his Eagle for a project he built an “Arc of Noah” playground at Catholic Kindergarten St. Hurbertus Roetgen Germany; Eric Lander receives his Eagle for a project he repaired and improved amphitheater at Deerlick Creek Park; Brooks Merrill receives his Eagle for a project created playground map at Englewood Elementary School

-          April 7 – 9 – Troop camped at Rickwood Caverns and went rappelling at Palisades Park

-          April 21 - Troop helped with setup for American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life (patch)

-          January 18 – 21 – Troop travels to Silver Springs FL, and snorkels with the Manatees, had to start trip a day early due to snow in Tuscaloosa

-          February 1 – 3  –  Troop camped at Camp Pushmataha in Mobile and attended Marti Gras parades on Saturday and Sunday, nice weather.

-          March 22 – For a service project the troop set up setting for the First United Methodist Church Easter Service

-          March 28 – 30 – Troop went to Shiloh and camp and hiked 14 mile Historical Trail and 20 mile Confederate Approach Trail (patch) (patch)

-          April  - Troop helped with setup for American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life (patch)

-          April 18 – 20 – Troop camped at Lake Lurleen and worked on basic scout skills, OA members attended the Section Conclave in Mississippi

-          May 1 – Troop Color Guard presents colors at NRA Banquet

-          May 2 – 4 – Troop camps at Camp Horne Apache campsite helps with Beaver Day.

-          May 10  –  Troop assisted with the 2008 Safe Kids Safety Fair.
