FRIENDLY REMINDERS:
All Scouts should come to every meeting in uniform.
 
Please stay off the playground equipment.
 
Use restroom facilities across the hall from the gym only.

All Scouts should report directly to the scout room when you are dropped off to meetings. NO Scout should ever leave the Scout Room or any designated Scout area of the church unless you are directed to do so by Mr. Henderson or another Scout Leader.

Scouts and Adults,

April Camping Trip - Hiking at Chickamauga - April 8, 9 and 10
The Troop will be hiking at Chickamauga, just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is a civil war battlefield hike, with options to hike 14 or 20 miles on Saturday. Zacharie and Nicholas, we might not be able to get in 50 miles on this weekend. This is a gentle hike, no steep hills to climb, and a rather nice setting for a spring hike.

May Backpacking Trip - Sipsey Wilderness - May 20, 21 and 22
The Troop will be going backpacking in the Sipsey Wilderness in north Alabama. This is a true test of your scouting skills, and adventure that will introduce you to future possible high adventure trips like Philmont.

June Summer Camp - Skymont - June 5 through June 11
The troop will attend summer camp at Skymont, a Boy Scout Camp in Tennessee. There are special programs available to older scouts, including a special out of camp trip for 3 days that includes a day of climbing and rappelling in the mountains of Tennessee. Also scouts over 12 can also spend the Friday white water rafting on the Ocoee River. Ms. Kelley and Ms. Ginger are going over Merit Badge class options with the scouts now as registration begins soon.
